Dollar Golf Club

The Dollar Retired & Elderly Gentlemen's Golfing Society (DREGGS) is a group of male members of Dollar Golf Club who meet on a regular basis for social golf. The objective of the DREGGS is to have fun on the golf course.

We meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9.00am sharp, as the weather permits, to play golf in a friendly, leisurely and competitive spirit. All handicaps are represented from single figures up to our maximum of 36. No need to book in advance - just turn up on the 1st tee at the allotted time.

We play a Stableford scoring system off the front (yellow) tees and set off generally in groups of three players. There are three "mini competitions" of nearest the pin and longest drive etc. which are keenly contested at every DREGGS day. We also use a special Dreggs scorecard which is available from the DREGGS noticeboard in the Clubhouse.

Our entry fee is 1 for each time you play and this money is accumulated in the DREGGS funds and used to subsidise Spring/Autumn outings and our Christmas lunch in December. The lunch is a much anticipated and very jolly affair.

If you have the time and are interested in joining us, then please come along on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. You will be made very welcome.
