LADY CAPTAIN'S DAY - 2011
The Ladies turned out with a strong field for Di Dunning's Captain's Day on Sunday 21 August. Played over twelve holes the competition is perhaps more of a social event but always enjoyed by the players as is pictured below. However, despite a more relaxed approach to the game, the competition was as keen as ever and, indeed,
with the pressure off the golf was well up to standard. Conditions were near ideal, it was dry, it was warm and the course and greens were in good condition. There were prizes for all who took part in a variety of categories with Catherine Shaw taking the major honour. Lady Captain Di (pictured left) is to be congratulated
on producing a great day for the Dollar ladies who sat down after their round to enjoy the chat and Nicole's tea, coffee and scones to round off a splendid day.
